The number of sailing clubs that offer windsurfing as part of their summer camp activities is growing every year! Sign up your kids for a week, or two, or for the whole summer and see them fall in love with the sport.
“I think every sailor, regardless of what they want to do with sailing, should experience windsurfing” says US Sailing’s Olympic Development Director Leandro Spina. “Recreational, competitive, C420, 470, Nacra or Laser, keelboat, all sailors need to windsurf. It is the most organic way of sailing, period, nothing teaches more about balance than windsurfing.”
