Thank you for joining and supporting US Windsurfing! As part of your membership you will be receiving a free shirt! To minimize environmental impact we print out shirts to order and don’t keep a large inventory. Your shirt will arrive in a few weeks. We also only send membership cards to folks who would like them, so just let us know if you would like an official membership card mailed to you.
For your records, US Windsurfing is a 501c3 non-profit organization, so your contribution is tax deductible.
Your membership dues help to support our many programs to promote windsurfing. We work with local organizations on access issues, we lobby on behalf of sensible regulations and we partner with US Sailing, the Association of Wind Sports Industries (AWSI), International Windsurfing Classes, ISAF and others on grants, junior programs, insurance and more. We provide insurance for windsurfing regattas, help to standardize instruction across the USA, and support various programs such as collegiate windsurfing.
As a US Windsurfing member, you are a contributor to, and member of, our national windsurfing community. You have been signed up for our quarterly newsletter and we would encourage you to check out our calendar for events in your area. Let us know if you have material for our newsletter, questions, comments, concerns, or race dates that aren’t on the calendar.
